I'm currently living in the city, but my new job is somewhere in the suburbs. It will be quite far for me to commute.
So I logged on to a local website where they advertise rooms for rent. I looked for the cheapest one. There were numerous. Almost every room was cheap. When I found a room I liked, I immediately dialed the number on the advertisement.
No answer.
The same thing happened for the next advertisement. I must have looked at 100 different advertisements, and dialed 20 different numbers. Most of the calls were unanswered. For the calls that were answered, the rooms were either taken or had a glitch. Or I had to SHARE it with someone.
OK, first of all, I don't SHARE. My room is my room. Your room is whatever the hell you want it to be.
Second, if the room is already taken, please remove the advertisement from the website. Need I spell it out for you?
In the end, I was only happy with two rooms. I guess it's better than none right? I'm going out this Sunday to check out the two places. But one of them will be out of town on Sunday so I guess I have no choice but to take the other place.
I wish there was an easier way to get my own place.
